It seems young actress Shraddha Kapoor has become the latest tantrum queen of Tinseltown. She is currently shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Indianised Hamlet Haider in Kashmir and reports coming straight from the sets has that she is demanding five-star treatment from the unit.
Buzz has that Shraddha, 21, after knowing that she was the only member of the cast who had not been put up in a suite, displayed bad temper. Other actors of the film, like Shahid Kapoor, Tabu, Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon were given a suite while there was none available for her. Shraddha too demanded a suite in the five-star hotel though there was no vacant room.
The daughter of Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kolhapure was upset with the biased treatment. “The hotel was full at the time. And the production-in-charge tried to explain this to Shraddha but she wasn't appeased,” informed unit man.
Apparently, she was provided a suite in another five-star hotel in Srinagar. However, what happened next day was quite funny. Sources said when Shraddha turned up for the preparatory workshop next day; she was still reportedly sulking over the unfair treatment. A couple of days later however when a suite was available, Shraddha was shifted back to the earlier hotel where the rest of the unit was put up. “After this, she was happy,” added the sources.
Talking about the same incident with Shraddha's spokesperson, he denied all saying, “We were all staying in the same hotel. Shraddha is the most pampered person on the sets.”
The director Vishal Bhardwaj reiterated, “Shraddha is a lovely girl both on and off the sets. And there were no tantrums.”
